The Chaplaincy Team The Chaplaincy Team Members are:
Sr. Shelagh is a Sister of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of Mercy. She lives in the Bethany community, here in Preston. With a background in nursing and childcare she has worked in the university since the days when it was a polytechnic. Brs. Mark, Prins & John The Capuchin Friars, Brs Mark, Prins & John, return to Preston after 467 years, following the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1539, to take responsibility for the Catholic Chaplaincy at the University of central Lancashire. We are very happy to welcome you to the university, and hope that you will avail yourself of the chaplaincy / cathsoc facilities. Please call in to the Chaplaincy at any time for tea, a coffee or a chat. The Chaplains are available for a talk, spiritual direction, prayer or confession.
